This course will examine those standards and give you an insight into the importance of designing cinemas using standards based engineering calculations rather than subjective guesswork. The morning will be classroom based where the instructor will introduce the standards and the engineering skills necessary to apply them.

The afternoon will be spent working in small groups applying the knowledge gained in the morning. During the afternoon workshop, a number of additional subject matter experts will be on hand to spend time with individual groups to help with the design.

By the end of this course, delegates will understand how applying engineering standards to cinema design ensures a high standard of repeatable performance.

We know that as a technician or designer, you’re the one who makes a project happen.  And while “Project Manager” may not be in your title, you’re probably doing that job too, which can be frustrating.

So rather than complaining, join your equally frustrated peers for this class and learn how to do it right. Get an overview of the project management basics−stakeholders, project quality, scope creep, documentation, and time management constraints−and gain insight into how other companies do project management and why it works for them. In the end, leave with the tools to ease your frustration and make you better at what you do, which should make everyone happy.
